A solid foam core we called EPP was strategically placed in the paddle. Our engineers have experimented with various cutout designs to achieve specific performance characteristics. By tweaking the void design, they can fine-tune power, forgiveness, and other attributes—the possibilities are seemingly endless. For this particular design the rectangular cutouts around the edge add flex to the sweet spot while the circle cutouts in the middle are primarily there to reduce weight.A fiberglass layer next to the foam core which adds pop and power to bigger swings. On top of the fiberglass layer are carbon facing layers.
